Guided birdwatching tour on Heligoland
Join Sven Achtermann – a field ornithologist, nature photographer and expedition leader – on a journey of discovery through Heligoland’s birdlife. Drawing on his many years of experience, he will highlight different species, their behaviour and distinctive features, and share his knowledge with you as you observe them.
The focus is on exploring together and observing closely. The tour is suitable both for experienced birdwatchers and for anyone who is new to birdwatching.
Meeting point: Please arrive a few minutes before the start outside Kaufmann Jewellers on Falm. The exact route of the tour will depend on the conditions and what can be seen on the day.
MINOX binoculars and spotting scopes are available during the guided tour and can be tried out straight away outdoors in real-world conditions.
